John Mark Sutton was born in Beckenham, South London, in February 1925 and first went to sea in the British Integrity in April 1945, but was not entitled to any campaign awards. Of his subsequent career as a Radio Officer, he served off Korea in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Maine, in the Near East in the R.F.A. Tidereach and off Borneo in the R.F.A. Fort Duquesne. He came ashore at the end of 1972; sold with copied service record.
