(Military) Knight Commander’s breast star by Hamlet, silver with gold and enamel appliqué centre, circa 1820-30, 82mm diameter, the reverse inscribed ‘HAMLET Goldsmith & Jeweller TO THEIR MAJESTIES & ROYAL FAMILY Princes St. Leicester Squ. LONDON’, fitted with gold pin for wearing, minor loss to green enamel on wreath, otherwise good very fine and a scarce example £1500-2000
