William Hale was born in Chelmsford and attested for the 13th Light Dragoons at Maidstone, Kent on 12 June 1828, aged 22 years. Discharged being unfit for further service in June 1850. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. Medal and gratuity in July 1850. With copied discharge papers and roll extract.
