Fifeshire Artillery Milita Officer’s Busby Grenade c. 1860 - 1878, an extremely fine and rare example in silver plate, being a fused grenade, the ball mounted with a crowned strap ‘Virtute Et Opera’ enclosing the Thane of Fife a scroll below ‘Fifeshire Artillery’ and at the bottom a cannon, a crowned circle within thistle sprays, complete with white horse hair plume, fasteners lacking and the mounts with glued fasteners, excellent facial condition £400-600
