7th Haddingtonshire Rifle Volunteers (North Berwick) Officer’s Pouch Belt Plate c. 1868 - 1880, an exceptionally rare example in blackened brass and silver plate, a crowned mullet being overlaid with a circular mount ‘Haddingtonshire Rifle Volunteers’ this encloses a scene displaying a cliff, the sea and seagulls, above the circle a scroll ‘Firm’ and below the circle a further scroll ‘VII’, three screw post fasteners, excellent condition £250-350
