George Day, 69 Great Russell street, London, was the London agent for Rollin & Feuardent. Understandably, when remarking on the values for coins quoted by Thorburn 35 years earlier, Day says “they are not much good, prices average now, at least 100% above those [quoted], except for the coins from George III to Victoria, which are about the same”
