British and Scottish Hammered Silver Coins

Henry VIII (1509-1547), Third coinage, Halfgroat, Bristol, mm. WS on rev. only, local bust, Lombardic letters both sides, trefoils in forks, pellet stops, quatrefoil after civitas and trefoil (?) before bristolie, pellet below shield in third quarter (?) and on inner circle, 1.39g/10h (Whitton 2; N 1851; S 2377). Struck on a full round flan, nearly very fine with a good portrait
