Attributed to Rudolf Svensson (1899-1978), Sweden's greatest Olympic wrestler, who won two silver medals at the Paris Olympiad for Light-heavyweight Freestyle and Lightweight Greco-Roman wrestling. He was to win gold four years later in Amsterdam (see Lot 1326) and again in the Los Angeles Games of 1932
