II [London, 1889-91], the 1967 Seaby reprint, pp.509-1048, engraved illustrations in text (Manville 1162); Wagner, L., London Inns and Taverns, 1st edn, London, 1924, 252pp; together with a quantity of papers, articles, etc, mostly on London tokens, some photographs (including two glass lantern slides), copies of maps, Sir Richard Hayward’s card index of his collection, with notes on the issuers, and a collection of 172 35mm slides of tokens in the collection in a purpose-built box [Lot]. First in original decorated brown cloth, with contemporary presentation bookplate from the Library Committee, Guildhall, to Andrew Fountaine, Esq, a very fine copy, others in varied state, an interesting lot £150-200
