The probable issuer was John McKelvie, grocer and spirit dealer, 25 Dalrymple street, and his son, John junior, wholesale grocer and tea dealer, 16 Shaw street (Manville p.113). This piece is not be confused with that listed by Manville as ‘Seen in Glasgow commerce, 1984’
