George Henry Morley was born on 6 January 1908, the son of Dr. G. F. Morley, of Portsmouth. Educated at St. Helen’s College, Southsea and Middlesex Hospital. M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. 1929; F.R.C.S. 1935. Senior Consultant Plastic Surgery, 1950; Senior Consultant of the Royal Air Force 1966. Hon. Surgeon to the Queen 1958; President of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons 1961; Fellow Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. Awarded the O.B.E. in 1944; C.B.E. in 1961 and C.B. in 1968. Died 26 May 1971.
