Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, no clasp (Nursing Sister J. I. Walworth) officially re-impressed naming, some edge bruising and contact marks, nearly very fine £120-160
Nursing Sister J. I. Walworth, Army Nursing Service Reserve, joined from England on 7 July 1900. Her name appears on the Q.S.A. roll of No. 4 General Hospital and for the A.N.S.R. personnel aboard the hospital ship Orcana. No. 4 General Hospital was based at Mooi River, January 1900-May 1902. She was also awarded the King’s medal without clasps - a note on the roll states that she was ‘now Mrs Clapham’.
