Isaac Brickles was born in Lincoln in February 1884 and entered the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class in September 1899. Joining H.M.S. Terpsichore as a Boy 1st Class in February 1901, he saw service off South Africa, but he was invalided ashore as an Ordinary Seaman in December of the following year; sold with copied service record and medal roll verification.
