Austin Herbert Floyd was born in Islington, London. A Farmer by occupation, he attested for the A.I.F. on 15 January 1916, aged 28 years, 9 months. Serving as a Driver with the 51st Battalion Australian Infantry, he was killed in action, Flanders, on 6 October 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. With copied attestation papers.
