John William Arundel was born and lived in Eastbourne and enlisted at Uxbridge, Middlesex. Serving with the 5th Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, he was killed in action in Gallipoli, 10 August 1915. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.
