Waterloo 1815 (Thomas Jones, 3rd Batt. Grenad. Guards) fitted with original steel clip and bar suspension, old ribbon, good very fine £1200-1500
Four men of this name in the regiment at Waterloo, including one in the Light Company. With further research which considers the possibility that this is the medal of Thomas Jones who was discharged on 26 January 1816, in consequence of ‘a wound in the leg at Waterloo’.
