3247 Private A. Griffiths, 2nd Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment was awarded the Queen’s medal with clasps for ‘Cape Colony’ and ‘Orange Free State’. Listed on the Q.S.A. roll, dated 15 July 1901 as being ‘invalided’. With copied roll for the King’s medal which confirms single clasp.
