Maclagan served with 2nd Brabant’s Horse (21082) for his Q.S.A.

Fox served with ‘D’ Squadron, Mooi River detachment, South African Mounted Irregular Forces. Awarded the Q.S.A. with clasps for Relief of Ladysmith and Natal. Prior to his service with the S.A.M.I.F. he served with the Colonial Scouts and Imperial Light Horse.
