Canadian Forces Decoration, E.II.R., with Second Award Bar (F./L. W. E. Morse), in its case of issue, together with related miniature dress medal, extremely fine (2) £100-120

Sold with a quantity of original documentation, including the recipient’s original Flying Log Books (2), covering the periods January 1950 to January 1957, and April 1957 to April 1972, bound as one volume; together with a certificate for the recipient’s graduation from the R.C.A.F. Technical Training School as an Aero Engine Mechanic, dated 18 September 1948; U.S.A.F. Air Training Command Diploma showing that Flight Lieutenant William E. Morse 12505 (Canada) gained the rating of Aircraft Observer (Electronic Countermeasures) at Keesler Air Base, Mississippi, on 12 April 1955; Canadian Armed Forces Certificate of Service, named to Lieutenant-Colonel W. E. Morse, C.D., and assorted flying time documents; and a pewter tankard, inscribed, ‘F./O. W. E. Morse, Cheers from Flying Wing R.C.A.F. Summerside, May 1952’, and S.H.A.P.E. cloth badge.
