Brindley (1456892) R.A.F.), this last with edge cut over the ‘S.’ of Sig., polished overall, thus good fine or better (5) £1200-1500

John Albert Brindley was born in Manchester and enlisted in the Royal Air Force in December 1941. Presumably attached to Coastal Command before the War’s end, he retired in the rank of Master Signaller in February 1968 and died in 1983.
