The Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Officer ‘s (Brother’s) breast badge, silver and enamel; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, no clasp; War Medal 1939-45, Canadian issue in silver, these unnamed; Korea 1950-53 (ZH5062 A. M. Davidson); U.N. Korea 1950-54 (ZH 5062 A. M. Davidson); U.N.E.F. Medal, unnamed; Canadian Decoration, E.II.R. (Lt. Col. A. M. Davidson) medals gilded or plated, mounted court style for wear; together with a mounted set of seven dress miniature medals; and an Armed Forces Institute of Pathology Medallion, 76mm., bronze, named to ‘Allan M. Davidson, this last with slight edge bruise, good very fine (lot) £300-350
Dr Davidson held the degree and honours: M.D., F.R.C.S.(C) and F.A.C.S.
With a plaque, enamelled metal on wood (centre slack), 118 x 150mm., ‘EGIPAT’ ‘UNEF 1956-57 ODRED JNA’ ‘With Many Thanks to Major Allen Davidson El Arish June 18 1957’; a framed photograph, 200 x 155mm., of the recipient at an Order of St. John ceremony; with a pair of shoulder boards - Lieutenant-Colonel, R.C.A.M.C. and a pair of shoulder epaulette straps - Lieutenant-Colonel; a pair of shoulder titles; riband bars (5) and the book, First Aid, by Dr A. M. Davidson, published by the St. John Ambulance, Priory of Canada.
