Private Peter Campbell, 12th Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 19 September 1915. With his battalion he sailed to Salonika in November 1915. He was killed in action there on 9 May 1917, aged 21 years. His name was commemorated on the Doiran Memorial.
