Thomas John Ferretter enlisted at Canning Town, originally serving with the Royal Fusiliers. Serving in the 2nd Battalion South Wales Borderers, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 3 July 1917, aged 30 years. He was buried in the Bard Cottage Cemetery. He was the son of George and Georgina Ferretter, of Woolwich and the husband of Rose Ferretter, of 53 Albert Road, Silvertown, London.
