Ninth only illustrated. Lucien Bazor (1889-1974) was taught drawing by his father and became a student under Henri Patey at the École des Beaux-Arts. Winner of the Prix de Rome in 1923, he succeeded Patey as the chief engraver at the Monnaie in 1930 and served in that role until 1958
