Waterloo 1815 (John Owin, Driver, Royal Horse Artillery) steel clip and replacement ring suspension, slight contact marks, good very fine £1400-1600
John Owin was born in the Parish of Kinbolton, Yorkshire. He enlisted into the Royal Horse Artillery on 3 July 1803, aged 22 years.
At Waterloo, Driver John Owin served in Lieutenant-Colonel May’s “H” Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. Owin was discharged with a pension in 1819 due to a pectoral complaint. With copied discharge paper and roll extract.
