Gordon James Wilson lived in Holloway. Serving in the 11th Battalion London Regiment (Finsbury Rifles) he entered the Egypt theatre of war on 10 August 1915. Serving with the Egypt Expeditionary Force he was killed in action on 19 April 1917, aged 27 years, and was buried in the Gaza War Cemetery. He was the son of Robert and Rachel Wilson, of 59 Yerbury Road, Upper Holloway, London. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
