Illustration considerably reduced. Florent-Antoine Heller (1840-1904), sculptor and painter from Saverne (Alsace), fled his native country after serving in the Franco-Prussian War and worked for Tiffany and later Gorham Mfg Co in New York, before returning to France in the late 1890s
