Temporary Lieutenant R.N.V.R., 7 July 1915; Armoured Car Aeroplane support (R.N.A.S.); served France, Belgium, Russia; entitled Order of St Stanislaus, 3rd Class; Temporary Lieutenant-Commander, 10 January 1918.
