Charles Ralph Alexander was born in Glasgow, Scotland, 19 April 1894. Living in Omaha, Nebraska, employed as a Salesman, he attested for the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry at Toronto on 31 July 1917, having previously served three years in the U.S. Coast Artillery. Arriving in England in October 1917 he was transferred to the Eastern Ontario Regiment 7th Reserve Battalion. On 6 March 1918, when serving with the 6th Reserve Battalion, he accidentally shot himself in the right foot whilst cleaning his rifle. He remained in England for the duration of the war. Rosario Defayette was born in Montreal on 11 February 1895. Employed as a Machinist, he was drafted into the Army in May 1918. Posted to the 10th Canadian Reserve Battalion Quebec Regiment. He was posted to England in August 1918. With copied service papers.

Herbert Weber was born in Carrick Township, Ontario on 23 May 1892. Employed as a Clerk, he was drafted into the Army in January 1918. Posted to the 1st Depot Battalion Western Ontario Regiment, he entered England in March 1918. Posted to the 4th Reserve Battalion, he remained in England for the duration of the war. With copied service papers.

Sapper Ernest Harling, 3rd Field Company, Canadian Engineers, was killed in action, 15 August 1917.
