1st Goorkha Rifles Officer’s Head Dress Badge part hall marked, this extremely rare badge (6.9 x 7.8 cms) of four part construction comprising a die stamped silver plated multi rayed eight pointed star back plate mounted with laurel sprays and central five pointed hall marked silver star, this in turn mounted with a brass figure ‘1’ over crossed kukris, complete with two long loop fasteners, the central section is hall marked Birmingham 1894 by B & P (Bent & Parker), one fastening pin missing on the reverse of the laurel sprays otherwise in very good condition £400-600
