Staats Artillerie Framed Collection of Badges, a fine and rare collection (Owen references) comprising a two part gilt brass sabretache badge worn prior to 1901 (2025), a 3rd Cavalry Battery two part brass busby badge worn prior to 1901 (2037 though variable fused grenade), an officer’s unlisted two part pouch badge in gilt brass worn prior to 1901 similar to 2025 but third size, three white metal cap badges 1874-1901 (Owen 2015, 2022), a similar small size lapel badge in white metal stated to be for the Civil Service, an enamelled brass depiction of a badge similar to the above but with a standard heraldic shield centre and the areas underneath the eagle’s wings unpierced stated to be a brooch or smasher hat badge; two gilt brass cap badges (2021 and 2022) worn 1874-1901, all fasteners appear to be present and overall very fine condition (10) £400-600
