Four: Lieut T. Moore, Cameron Highlanders.

ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE, M.B.E., Military, 1st type in case of issue; 1914-15 STAR (2. Lieut.); BRITISH WAR and VICTORY MEDALS; together with two Cameron Highlanders regimental medals in bronze, unnamed, and a substantial glazed silver prize medal, Cambridge University Boat Club, Trial Eights, in box of issue, the interior with silver shield and the names of the winning crew, 1906. The recipient was cox and the crew included F. H. Jerwood and J. S. Burn, both medallists at the 1908 Olympics. Extremely fine (7)

Thomas Moore was educated at Edinburgh Academy and Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he was a keen sportsman, gaining his Blue for rowing and membership of the Leander Club. In the Great War he served with the B.E.F. in France, attached G.H.Q., and at home in connection with anti aircraft work. He was late attached to the General Staff at the War Office in the Directorate of Military Intelligence (M.B.E.)
