Surgeon Lieutenant-Colonel Saunders Barton Haliday, L.R.C.P. Ed., M.R.C.S., served in the Abyssinian War in 1867-8 as Assistant Surgeon of a Hospital Ship (medal). Served in the Afghan war in 1879-80 in medical charge of the 13th Bombay Native Infantry (medal).
