Lieutenant-Colonel Eden Moyle Baker served in the Afghan War of 1878-80, and took part in the advance to Kandahar and Khelat-i-Ghilzie. He accompanied Sir Frederick Roberts in the march to Kandahar and was present at the battle of Kandahar (medal with clasp, and bronze decoration). Ex. Needes Collection, 1940.
