INDIA GENERAL SERVICE 1895-1902, 1 clasp, Punjab Frontier 1897-98 (2nd Lieut. W.B.C. Bridge, 2 High. L.I.) very fine

William Basil Charles Bridge served with the Malakand and Buner Field Forces, and was present in the attack and capture of the 'langa Pass (medal with clasp). He was employed with the Mounted Infantry during the South African War (medal with 5 clasps), and later with the Egyptian Army. He retired with the temporary rank of Lieut-Colonel in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
