Lieutenant Charles Bagnall served in the Indian Campaign of 1857-59, including the action of Khodagunge and the entry into Futtehghur, storm and capture of Meangunge, siege and capture of Lucknow, affair of Koorsie, and passage of the Gogra at Fyzabad on 25th November.
