France, Bank of France, silver jeton, year 8 (1800), by Dumarest, obverse Minerva and Fortune, signed in full below truncation, reverse legend within oak and laurel wreath, octagonal, 35mm (Brainsen 28; TN 76, 3, note). Very fine, pleasantly toned Stamped with cornucopia and ARGENT on edge indicating a later (probably late 19th Century) striking.
