CNI was published in paper wrappers, this and the following three lots are all special presentation copies. They were donated to the RNS Library by Prince Louis of Battenberg (the Marquis of Milford Haven) and are with his bookplate on the inside cover. The four volumes were released as duplicates in 1988 and signed to this effect on the RNS paper label. This volume with an ALS. from Milford Haven pasted to the first free end paper
