MILITARY GENERAL SERVICE 1793-1814, 9 clasps, Busaco, Fuentes D'Onor, Ciudad Rodrigo, Salamanca, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, Toulouse (Paul Peattie, 42nd Foot) very fine

Paul Peatrie enlisted in the 42nd Foot in August 1803, and served in the Peninsula and France from June 1809 until June 1814. He was wounded at Burgos and discharged on 31 October 1814. He was admitted to Chelsea Hospital in March 1852, and died at Edinburgh on 15 March 1875, aged 90 years.
