SOUTH AFRICA 1877-79, 1 clasp, 1877-8-9 (Sergt. J. Edwards, C.M. Rifles) official correction to one letter of surname, otherwise nearly very fine

Sergeant J. Edwards was wounded in the hip, thigh and buttock during the attack on Morosi's Stronghold on 8 April 1879. It is believed that he, together with Trooper Paschke, were rescued by Trooper Peter Brown who was subsequently awarded the Victoria Cross.
