Sold with original Newspaper cuttings from the Norwich Mercury dated 9 May 1908, and 7 August 1909. The first contains an interview with Thomas Mann, 'The Oldest Soldier in Great Britain' and provides a lengthy account of his military service during which he earned the Crimean medals for Balaklava, Inkermann and Sebastopol.
