The following is an extract of the 69th Annual Report, November, 1907:

'Silver medal and Vote of Thanks to Mr. Henry Bush, third officer of the steamship 'Gregory', for gallantly diving into the river at Pinheiro, near Para, North Brazil, and rescuing a man who was carried away by the tide while bathing.'
