Lef7evre (after J-B Daniel-Dupuis), females admiring jewellery, reverse legend, named "Prix Martial-Bernard (Ciselure) A Mr Bouvier Alexandre 1906", 62 x 54mm (cf. PBE 318). A prize for tooled jewellery work to M. Alexandre Bouvier. The original design for this plaque was by Daniel-Dupuis, but after his tragic murder in November 1899 a number of his outstanding works were completed and issued by other artists. This particular plaque was completed by Camille Lefevre in 1901, as indeed was the similar, but slightly larger plaque in bronze illustrated in the PBE catalogue (p. 47)
