Spain, Charles II (1661-1700) and Mary Louise de Bourbon (in. 1679, she was the daughter of the Duc d'Orleans and granddaughter of Louis XIII of France), 1682, byJ. B. Fischer (Vischer), obverse Charles II of Spain standing full face with foot on lion holding globe and sceptre, gazing left (West?), reverse Marie Louise standing in similar pose with sceptre, gazing right, with artist's signature in exergue, bronze cast (Forrer, BDM VI 284-285 who illustrates another example stated to be ex Max Rosenheim (published in 1916) So obviously it does not appear in the Sotheby's 1923 catalogue). An extremely fine cast medal with tiny piercing which does not interfere with the aesthetic qualities
