William I, Penny, PAXS type, Wareham, Sideloc, [SI]DELOC ON PER, 1.36 gms (FEJ 1642 and Doubleday 853, same obverse die; BMC 1038; N. 848; S. 1257). Obverse better than fine but most of legend flat, reverse double-struck and only fair, has been rather harshly cleaned
