Boer War Tribute Medal, in 9 carat gold and enamels, hallmarks for Birmingham 1901, in the form of a cycle horn with central crest of Derbyshire, below which is a banner inscribed ‘Derby Rovers C.C.’, reverse inscribed ‘To F. A. Pitman on his return from the Boer War’, with double loop suspension, some damage to blue enamel, otherwise very fine and very rare £250-300
