Private Malcolm Mowat was killed in action in France and Flanders on 22 April 1915 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment). His name is commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial, Belgium.
