Royal Aberdeenshire Highlanders Militia, a magnificent officer’s shoulder belt plate c1850-1881, the rectangular silver plated back plate bears four ornate gilt mounts, ‘Royal’ ‘Aberdeenshire’ ‘LXXXIX’, Highlanders’, 89th was the final precedence number allotted to the regiment, though dirty the plate is in excellent condition (1) £450-550
