29 South Africa 1877-79 medals issued to this unit, of which 15 were returned to the mint. The commanding officer, the 2nd Lieutenant, the Sergeant-Major, and three Troopers were all named Sweetnam. The unit received 16 medals for Basutoland, including five Sweetnams.
