(Civil) 2nd type; 1939-45 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; Defence & War Medals; Coronation 1953; Malaysia, Order of the Defender of the Realm, Commander’s neck badge, silver-gilt and enamels, the reverse inscribed ‘W. J. Watts, 1959’, the first six mounted as worn, together with companion mounted set of seven miniatures, very fine (14) £200-250

Watts served in the Royal Air Force between 1941 and 1946, and joined the Colonial Service in 1947, serving in Malaya until 1959. He was awarded the O.B.E. in 1969.
